Looking for high quality SCANS. Will provide templates based off scans in return for those who cannot get them done themselves, simply out of the kindness of my heart.

Open to other options.

Also can provide photoshop help, let me know.

Okay, everythings sussed out now. novID.co.cc is registered and should be working, I've uploaded the main things, so if anyone has anything else they want available just PM me with a link and I'll stick it on.

If your ISPs DNS hasn't updated yet, you should be able to access it at ipadl.info/novid

Cheers.

tehseeder's collection looks good for for someone to get started. Pretty much matches my collection so far already, though the miscellaneous pics are good reference material I didn't have before. thanks for hosting.

If you could link me to the program I do have some software reverse engineering skills. I'll take a look at the program if you'd like.

And any scans of RECENT/NEW licenses, 21+.
Some stuff could be blurred for privacy.

EDIT: The program appears to be for MAC. I'm a windows user.

I am a bit lost on the process, this is where I'm at:

I've been looking into making IDs for a little while now, and I started buying supplies. I ordered a die cutter, some inkjet uv ink, inkjet teslin, and pearl-ex. I already have a laminator.

I will be working with Washington and I have a decent template, I completely redid the one in the ultimate pack. Anyway, this is what I understand the process to be:

1) Print out the edited photoshop template onto the teslin

2) Print out the hologram onto laminate, then sprinkle a little bit of pearl-ex onto it (green, since washington's holo and uv are both green). ALSO, do I need a base for the pearl-ex when I do this?

* This is where I get confused

-- How do I do the thermal transfer method, I read that after letting the pearl-ex on the ink dry, you run it through the laminator and peel it off or something, but I'm not sure, can someone please elaborate? How do I get it onto the ID?

-- When I print the uv image, do I print it directly onto the card or should I print it onto some laminate? Then how do I get it on the ID?

?) After those complications I laminate the card and cut it out with the die cutter

Any help is appreciated.

Once the pearlex is dry (or after you've sprayed it with a can of compressed air and got rid of all exess pearlex) place a butterly pouch or laminate over the transparency where the pealex is and run it through your laminator at a low temperature (what works best for me). Right after it comes out, peel off the transparency. THis will leave the pearlex on the laminate, when can then be placed on top of the teslin. It's a very cool process.

That clears it up, thanks! Anyone else know what to do for the UV?

Edit:

Probably a stupid question, what is the difference between laminate and transparency?

Can't help you with UV, unfortunately

Laminate is the protective layer used for your ID. It will bond via heat to different materials (once it bonds to teslin...good luck getting it off)

Transparencies are usually used for overhead projectors (usually in school) but they will not bond to anything when run thu a laminator

Does anyone have a temp for the newer NY DL? The old one is useless to make an ID for someone in their low 20s.

I could definitely upload scans of an underage NY (with red ID numbers and it says UNDER 21 vertically next to your picture) and possibly a 21+ if I really looked.

Temps could be made if you provided scans of a 21+.

Okay, here it is...

21+ NY DL scan
Newest version
Front and back 1200DPI in bmp format
In an uncompressed RAR file. The password is "tts4" minus quotes.

If you would like a scan that is not blurred out, PM me. The top and the right sides of the scan are slightly cut off from my scanner. I can redo that if necessary.

I would appreciate being sent any templates you guys make (if they are not posted publicly)

Does anyone know how to make the emboss on the new tx license?
i thought it was a simple embossing machine but its only on the front, there is no indention through the back like on an atm. i was thinking just to emboss the front TXP but wouldnt the emboss go down once you laminate it down to the teslin?

Default Hologram Help

So i've read through this entire forum and there are so many different ways to make the hologram. I'm doing a texas novelty id and right now I have the texas hologram printed on a transparent sheet, the pearl-ex powder, photo-ez starting kit, laminator, pouches, and teslin cards. I have read it on here a few times but it's all a little too complex. How do I get the hologram from the transparency onto the photo ez? and then how do i get it from there onto the novelty id? Also what does the texas holo look like under a black light? A very very simple step by step would be greatly appreciated. Pretend your talking to a retard cause that's what I am at this stuff. Thanks

Follow the directions that come with the PhotoEz its really simple stuff. The holo looks exactly the same as a black light as the holo does normally. I have a question in regards to the Texas on the color of the UV powder, what color most closely resembles the the one on the actual id. Emmision and absorbtion numbers would be preferred but a simple yellow, or green answer will suffice. Thanks!

it should pay off if you do it right. quickly too.
there is too much risk for people to NOT do it locally.
you won't have much success buying a quality product off someone over the internet. for the ID makers in here know, you could be a cop.
plus you are just setting yourself up to be scammed. who will you go to when you send someone $150 for a fake id and get nothing in return?

I'm assuming that the emboss makes it look like it's 'puffed out' like a credit card rather than idented? i know that if you use perlex on txp and laminate twice the part where the perlex is 'puffs out' perfectly.

here's a theory that should work.

if it's an 'indent', print out the shape of the indent you want onto a gloss laminate and cut it out. if it's detailed you would probably need to die cut or use an exacto knife. then when you laminate lay that over where u want the indent, in-between the outside of the TXP and the carrier and put it through the laminator. then peel off when it comes out, you'll have a perfect indent. you would HAVE to use gloss, with the glossy side facing the txp cause it won't stick to it.

for a 'puff out' look, do the same thing using anything clear and put it in-between the TXP and the artisyn/teslin.

This will only work with TXP, not gloss.

Anthony- Stay away from durafilm. I was on your wavelength too and durafilm looks like it should work in theory, but it doesn't. The stencil itself looks great but it never prints sharply. I tried mixing pearl ex with transparent base, varnish, or gum arabic and it all came out shoddy. I even tried using golden acrylics's interference gold and for some reason it doesn't print well through the durafilm stencil. This is partly because the stencil has no frame, meaning no tension and will result in a blurry print. Your best bet is to silk screen if you want to go down that road.

Texas uv is just the same as the hologram, a repeating "Texas" all across the card. The UV looks green but in reality is a yellow. I would suggest DFPD-C Invisible yellow flourescent powder from risk reactor.

When I say emboss I do mean it sticks out above the card as if it was melted like that. The birthday is embossed above the persons picture. Also where can I get a custom die cutter?

I as well have tried the golden acrylics but it does not work. I have made one successful batch using powders and the durafilm. Can someone write me a tutorial for the alps method please. I am buying an alps printer tomorrow.

With the alps you print directly on the inside of the laminate sheet, so your holos need to be reversed. I print out a transparency with the holos in black and place it under the laminate sheet so I know where to tape off and apply pearl ex. After applying pearl ex with a makeup brush, I remove the tape, put the lam sheet in the alps and print the exact same way as I did the transparency except now with the finish ribbon. The finish ribbon will put a clear coat over the powder, trapping it and sealing it in the shape of the holo. Wash off the excess with water and a sponge. Easy

1. Anybody good with Georgia IDs? If you take an original Georgia, boil and freeze it, cut the overlay around the hologram, then apply a clear sticker and a little pressure the hologram peels off clean and intact with the sticker. Only problem is a little bit of ink comes with it and red blurs from the under 21 ID dont look good around the new black birth date on the over 21. Does anyone know or have any ideas on how to get rid of the ink without damaging the very fragile hologram?

2. Also the encrypted Georgia barcodes? No way to find out what information is contained on there to create a legit scanning Georgia ID right?

Default PVC Cards

Does anyone know where I can find a good supplier of PVC cards? I'm looking for 20 or 25 mil inkjet PVC cards as my printer is not compatiable with the dye-sub PVC cards. The only inkjet ones I can find are 30 mil and with the laminate on top of the 30 mil card, it just feels way too thick.
