Rep Power: 0 | | I was looking through the ID Checking Guide and in some of the descriptions it says "Durable card". What exactly does that mean? Is it pvc or another type of material? | | InFo

Rep Power: 0 | | 10 mil mag stripe full sheet laminate Hey guys. Does anyone know where I can get full sheet laminates of 10 mil with and without the mag stripe? Brainstorm has 7 mil with mag stripe, which I might have to use on the back, but I don't want to use 7 mil front and back. Anyone? |

Rep Power: 0 | | I need to tear open a laminated teslin ID while doing minimal dammage to the tesilin itself. How should I go about this? I was thinking about submerging the ID in boiling water and then using a crafts knife to peal it appart? |

Rep Power: 0 | | So I am brand new to this and have all my materials ready to go, the only thing is I need a template to start working with that I can use. Would anybody be able to supply me with a nice good template that I could work with. Any state would be fine, especially if it is an easy one to start out with. Thanks in advanced. |

Rep Power: 0 | | Photoshop help Hello all, So I recently took interest in this fine art. I got a eltron p500c and I had to build a new computer that has a window2k. I could only install cs2 and i was wondering if i could use a template that came in the faking pack to print directly from cs2 to the printer. When I press print the printer responds and the card goes through the motions but no color gets printed on to the card. I can run a test print and print head is fine but i can not seam to print the templates. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ive also got the card5 software but cannot open the psd file in that program. Any ideaes?Im a noob so be kind please!

but another question regarding the alps method. how do i remove all of the excess powder? i used water but there is still a foggy residure once the TXP dries | I think that's just bleed. TXP is not porous so the 'gloss' doesn't lay against it perfectly. It's kind of like if you took a ball of play-doh and squished it cause it flattens out. So that means that 'excess' that you can't get off is actually flattened into it because the gloss is over that part too. I stopped using an alps with TXP cause I couldn't solve that. I used an md-5000 and also a 1300 with no luck I didn't even know a 1000 could handle gloss. In fact most of the time I tried all of the hologram just washed off. If I were you I would try lowering the reolution, quality of print, etc and try to make the alps use less ink so that it doesn't bleed. Let me know if you make any progress cause that has been an ongoing issue.

Rep Power: 0 | | i figured it out! as soon as the actual print is finished just let it set 15 minutes or so to dry(longer isnt bad) then use speedballs retarder base and spread it on the entire sheet then let set a few seconds then rinse off with water |

Rep Power: 0 | | Hey guys. I've been working on my CA temp, the one from the ultimate guide, and I've got a problem. When I print it out on artisyn, the background color looks grainy with little dots of a slightly differnet color mixed in, and was wondering if this is just a quick setting fix on the computer or printer. I was thinking maybe the space between the circles is to small to make a good looking print, so I could try printing out the background color first and then print the circles and rest of the data on top of that. Any help would be cool.
Thanks |

Thanks | This may sound dumb but try printing on a lower quality setting.
Ink tends to blob up on Artisyn paper when too good of a print setting is used. I've found that using my printer's "Normal" print quality setting produced better quality images on Artisyn than when I print on "best". | | Texas

The one by the left picture.
Not the main seal I know what that is.
The one underneath the left signature.

Rep Power: 0 | | JohnSmith - use TXP! it is the actual material the DPS uses along with TESLIN. it will pass the bend test and will be EXACTLY the same as long as your temp and holo is good. would you mind sharing your temp with me? ill exchange mine with yours |

Rep Power: 0 | | Any chances of "Ultimate Fake ID Guide V3" coming out?
Maybe a few updated templates "George, South Carolina, North Carolina".
I also think all templates should have Holograms and UV Layers.
I also think the guide should go more in depth with Magstripes, Barcodes, UV, and Holograms.
Most people if they know anything should know how to edit a photoshop template. If not they shouldn't be making fakes.
My dream come true would be a video of someone making holograms using this PhotoEz and Peal-Ex.
Maybe a tutorial on how to use UV ink with inkjet printers.
The most common way fake id's are detected is with Holograms and UV.
Most places I go they just put it under the uv light.
Or they look for the generic authentic eagle hologram.
Thanks |
