Rep Power: 0 | | Credit Card Fraud. I'm not a big one on stealing from people, but damn if i don't like the fringe benifits of having cash. Lately credit cards have decided to reimbersse people fully for goods purchased on a stolen cards, so i figure it'd wouldn't be stealing from the person, but from the big corperation i.e. visa, and we all like to stick it to the man once in a while.
After reading quite a few totse articles and what not i put a few of the articles into one big idea, but since it seems when i plan out plans theres always something small that comes back to bite me in the ass. So i figured i'd post my idea and have you guys critiqe it.
My idea is to go through a phone book, calling people using this specific dialouge.
"hello *insert name here* this is grant cerriger (made up name) from the bank of america (or other local banks), i'm calling to inform you that the spending limit on your american express card has been raised to 2500."
"oh , but my spending limits always been" 5000, or 1000, or whatever it is she says, most likely it won't be lower than 2500
"Oh, hmm, this sounds like an error in the computers, could you read me the embossed numbers on your card?"
get the persons number, if the 4th and 5th number are between 80 and 89 they have a gold card, if its 37 they have a platinum, tell them.
"oh, hmm, you have a platinum card" *sounds like you know what your talking about because they never mentioned *hopefully* what kind of card they have* i'll look into this personally and fix it, you should get a letter in the mail, please keep it for reference."
Now that you have thier number use them to order a ton of shit online, and get it shipped overnight to a drop point, the problem i've run into is what kind of drop point should be used, and what if a signature is needed from ups or fedex.
Thoughts, opinions? I'm not sure how well this would work but it seems like it would if you could get ahold of someone dumb eneough, it just seems like if you call and tell them the spending limit on thier visa is raised they won't think automaticly that your a scammer especially because you KNOW they have a visa, and if they say they dont just say "oh wrong number i'm sorry" and try someone else untill you get someone who does. | |

Rep Power: 0 | | Well you would need to get the cvv2 and exp date. Easiest thing to order would be gift cards because they would be sent to another address (your drop) without much attention. Also about the shipping, Fedex usually requires a sig where ups depending on the driver and neighborhood will usually leave the package if left a note.
Finally, about the 4th and 5th number between 80-89 being gold and 37 being platinum is only for American Express.

Rep Power: 0 | | yeah, "my friend" is thinking of trying visa's since thier more wide spread here but unfortunatly the key's "he's" found are all wrong/old. For instance the 4th and 5th number on my moms gold card for AE is 32 and you can't find her expiration date in her car number anywhere, looks like one would really have to use his linguistic skills to get everything. If one bought the gift cards, and had them dropped off at the drop, then used the gift cards to buy stuff online and had it sent to their personal house, couldn't the investigators call the company the cards were bought from and find out if they've been spent and if so on what and where it was sent? |

Rep Power: 0 | | Well if you want to do visa/mastercard you need a bin list and the first 6 digits of the card. This will tell you the bank name and sometimes the kind of card ie classic, gold, etc. As far as the exp date on the Amex cards some have them some don't and I haven't fucked around with them too much since they are not accepted as much as visa and mastercard. As far as buying something online with the giftcard and having it sent to your house is a very bad idea. Have the gift card sent to your drop then go to the next town and pick your item out of the store.

Rep Power: 0 | | Since this process is so complicated, perhaps rather than try to correct the original scam someone could walk us through another credit card, its info etc. Also look at the thread that I posted asking for similar information.

Rep Power: 0 | | Well this may be a diffucult concept, but many people read the forums before they ask questions or ask for things... Just trying to fill some holes... Keep the data flowing because all that matters is information. |

Rep Power: 0 | | In my personal tradition of reductionism:
I personally never use personal banking unless for large transactions with a well known company. I use prepaid credit cards from gas stations.
That being said in almost every transaction I've ever done despite the card type(mastercard, visa etc..) I just needed the name on the card, cvv, card number, and the exp date.
The Discover cards are the best cause they have strict requirements and high deficits.
I've heard of people using the actual card holders address, and planning the delivery for when nobody is home. You get a good email account, and use some strangers ISP, and you're good to go. Even better would be tapping the holders TNI and using a netzero account for the email; it'd make it hell for federal investigators to track you considering you used common sense forensics.

Rep Power: 0 | | No he does not know fuck all about carding, I can almost guarantee.
He says he has a lot of resources, that's it; that doesn't mean he knows anything at all about carding.
I know a little bit concerning skimmers and using dumps if someone wants to ask me any questions over e-mail about them.
My e-mail you can contact me on is slim_iz_infinite@hotmail.com |
