OK GUYS!!!!!!! ive come up with the best plan yet and its easy too seeing as i forgot how our wal mart has a built in mcdonalds DUH!!! so i go in go to the electronics get my said items go to mcdonalds and because i used to work there they give me free meals so i eat my food but dont touch my drink i then slyly cut open the items packaging and put said items into 2 ziplock baggies (for assurance) and drop em into my large drink its asically the size of 4 SD chips then i put the lid on and walk out as if drinking my drink and leave the items garbage on my food tray SUCCESS tell me if you guys can think of any flaws im gunna be doing this tommorow probably ALSO people at mcdonalds dont give a shit and i will be out of view anyways

You could easily cut open that packet with a razor etc.
You can just throw the boxes out in the bins supplied by the Mc Donalds people along with your food wrappers, easy enough.
If they ask you where the items went, either act ingnorent, or say you found the empty packages on the seat where you were sitting and you were throwing them out, just being a good citizen... right

im just gunna play out a quick scenario here between the quotes "Hey you, i have footage of you on camera entering the resturaunt with some merchandise and i dont see it on you right now where did it go? "i set it down somwhere sir" oh? but you must have set it down somewhere in the resturaunt and i dont see it here now "....um.....i dont know" COME WITH ME " thats how i play this out in my head but another idea i came up with hehe is go into the store wearing say a sweater and pants then in the resturaunt i slip the pants off wearing jogging shorts underneath and i have a shirt under the sweater i give the sweater with pants inside to one of my buddies at mickyD's and just come back for it in a few hours CLEAN. phew thanks SO much for all the help guys ill tell you how the plan went in a day or two

Inless you are being despratly obvous in what you are doing then they probably wont pick you up on the cameras, the security guards dont pay enough attention to notice remember what evryone is doing when there are probably hundreds of people in the store at once. Just chill out and act cool when your doing it and you will be fine.

The first rule is to act as though you are within your rights to do what you are doing.
For example department stores such as Allders and Debenhams all have a tape underneath the tills that will read 'SOLD Allders' or 'SOLD Debenhams' and what you do is select a large item and im not bullshitting you here when i say the biggest item i stole from Allders was a 8ft x 10ft Chinese silk rug valued at £1549. I simply rolled the rug up and put the tape around both ends slung it on my shoulder and walked calmly out of the door.

Another good tip is to remember store opening times and routines.
Allders will hold security meetings in the morning normally first half hour of opening, now during this time all security personel are being briefed on who to look for and what is currently being targeted at the moment.
That is when you strike hitting the perfume counter and filling one off those laundry bags with quality aftershaves then leaving store this should take 30 secs as perfumes are always on ground floor, you can grab nearly a grands worth of stuff in seconds

Next tip hit Harrods or Selfridges in London. I know it sounds crazy but seriously these places dont like the bad press that having the police turn up and take away shoplifters causes, which means if you do happen to get caught stealing you simply receive a ban from the shop.

Something else worth mentioning are the big supermarkets ie Asda Tesco and my fav Marks and Spencers, 'expensive meat'.
Simply goto any Marks and Spencers between Midday and 2pm make sure you are smart in appearance, take a trolley and go to the fresh meat and simply fill trolley with the best cuts of meat you can find, Fillet, sirloin steaks, racks of lamb' you will know what to select when you are there. once you have all the meat you want chuck a couple of packs of prepacked salads on top and calmly make your way to exit and out it really is that easy because of the way these stores are laid out.
I mention these times because thats when every Marks and Spencer is full with office workers getting their lunch, hence the smart appearance i mentioned earlier

there are two main points to remember
1) If you act like your supposed to be there then no one will have an issue with you.
2) they don't pay workers enough to care, and guards are not allowed to touch you! a mate of mine was a guard and tackled a guy who he sore was shop lifting and was fired the next day. btw he told the guy to stop and guy ran, he didn't just randomly tackle him when he sore him shoplifting.

GAH BLAST ALL i dont know about you guys but when i went to the local walmart this morning it was bright and early i threw a hello at everyone and went to the electronics just to find that the 2 things i need are 45$ and up but the price itself wasent the problem the items were hanging on racks like these walmart-420 on Flickr - Photo Sharing! normally that wouldent be a problem but for some reason they had a sort of a hard plastic plug so you couldent remove the items without help im GUESSING because they were the only items with the plugs on them i tried to figure out how to take the plugs off but failed if anyone knows how to get past these inconspicuously please let me know ASAP if not well fuck my life haha either way thanks for the help guys

Hmmmm, endplugs. I guess that you could use your knife/scissors to cut the item off the rack by the hole at the top of the package? Im not really shure what the endplugs look like or how they work though so I couldent sujjest another way, sorry.

cut the batteries out of the box while it is still on there. just make sure you cut the one at the back

No, that is quite risky and will take alot longer with you in the open and venrabule, you are better to cut off the entire packaged item as quickly and descreatly as possible and then proceed with your origonal plan.

Bloodlusta, im not shure how much experiance you have had shoplifting, but I find that if you spend a while fucking around in a part of the shop (especially electronics) then somone will come and try and help you or move you on, then again, I naturally look shifty.

If people (e.g. the manager) are watching you all you do is ask them about the product next to the one your going to take. If the questions you ask them are dumb enough then they will usually piss off.

Good questions to ask:

what makes this a good brand?
what does this mean? (e.g MB WATTs ect)
Is that a good thing?
do you have this in a different colour?

and the list of boring goes on. Make sure you seem like you want to ask questions, and that you don't want to avoid them.

To day i stole some very nice black pants (my misses dad just died and i needed some for the funeral).

Any way i went in and picked up the pants, when the lady helper person came and asked me if she could help. I didn't want her around so i asked for the size they didn't have.

she went off and i took two pairs of the pants into the changing rooms. one was to big and the other was the right size. I put the right size on then put my own pants back on over them. I then walked out of the changing room and told her they didn't fit. she handed me the pair she had just got from the back room and i pretended to try them on. said they still didn't fit. Brought a shirt and walked out.

Same, but that has lost its thrill for me now, shoplifting for me has almost become a game to see what is the largest, most expencive thing that I can take without getting caught, and trying new shoplifting techniques. Its the only way I can get a rush from it any more.


EDIT: Diddnt want to put this in a new post, but today I found a shop that sells music with the cds in the boxes on the shelves, with no security tags. Even more they had a good Black metal collection!!!!!!, Man I had a Fieldday!

I've heard of a method of stealing stuff which just involves being fast instead of stealthy.

Basically you run in, grab something and run like balls. I've seen it done - a guy did it on a 7/11 and stole a whole display box of Tic-Tacs and was out before the counter guy turned around to see what was happening. I was filling up a Slurpee at the time, lol. I hope the guy enjoyed all those tic-tacs...

Another method would be just to grab anything displayed out the front and run.

Both these methods would probably work better on smaller, outdoor shops (malls and centres have security of course)

If the shopkeeper runs after you, you could have a mate to walk in and take whatever while the shop is empty.

We're assuming, of course that we're targeting chain shops and not small businesses.

What do you think of any of these methods? Point out some flaws for me.

Of course this could easily work. I myself work on a small gasstation and I'm behind a big desk and I would have no chance to catch a thief if he stole something simply because it would take too much time for me to get to him.

So yes if you go to a not so crowded place then its almost 100% sure to succeed.

Most of the time you wont even need to run because they cant see it when its out the front, the thing most commonly displayed out the front of shops are clothes- and a nice new $400 leather jackets
Some shopkeepers just dont think, or they put to much trust in humanmity.

Its still riskyer than subtle shoplifting because its so obvous, and they can still put your discription to the cops or security personell, so it might pay to have a change of clothes, just to be safe or if you intend in hanging around.

SCORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i went to walmart AGAIN to see if maybe by some chance those plugs were temporary and yes their permanent BUT LUCKILY wal mart is run by freaken retards and right next to them is a "Complete pro gamers PSP kit elite" which contains A PSP case,Battery,some stupid decal thing i wont use, and a USB cable and another charger why didnt this have a plug on it? simply because it was so big haha so i grabbed it took it to mcdonalds turned my ipod on very low ate my meal for like 30 mins slit dat box open grabbed my loot and walked out those walmart slidey doors a champion lol
BUT now i have to somehow get a memory chip D: i dunno how to get that cuz its on the plugs and its the only type they got D: but anyways im still pretty impressed with myself haha thats the most ive ever stolen ever :P thanks for the help guys im going back to see how that plug works in a few days so ill tell you guys how that works out

Works brilliantly for goods such as ps3s and 360s; you just act normal and ask stupid questions about the console when they hand the box or console to you, then when you distract them to get something off the shelf behind or some shit you start walking off, then you just bolt it once you're out the store.

Cams don't know our name and where you live, changing appearance if you really need to is easy enough as well.

If you're really paranoid about CCTV then go into a shopping centre and change your clothes in there, most of the time it's not needed though and half the time the store won't call the cops. Take the chances.

the best way to pull this kind of shit off is in a team. get your ace or somebody to distract the cashier then grab what you want and dig it. if you're paranoid about the pigs seeing you on camera get some of that spray on dye and wear glasses. disguise is easy just don't be stupid about it (i.e no clothes with school logo's or where you work on it). my best tip for thieves is don't be nervious, you can be cautious but since you're only doing a runner you dont need worry as much. do a guard check get the goods and book.
