Default printer wont all to print bank note

If I'm posting this in the wrong place I apologize ahead of time.

Ok I'm asking this for informational purposes only. Im trying to prove a point..

I am trying to print a twenty dollar bill and even adding pictures to the page it says bank note detected, If someone wanted to bypass this, How would they go about doing that?

Any suggestions is appreciated. I even tried cutting off the edges of the bill in photoshop and it still would not print.

What do you mean vallen.

There has been a few threads about this.
Apparently the printer recognixes any currancy bill and will not print it out.

I have tried using different programs. From photoshop to simple paint. If I open a picture of a bill I had scanned on my computer and right click it to open it in plain windows picture veiwer, When I try to print it gets past the top as soon as it prints the 20 it stops and says print canceled bank note detected. Mind you the face on the bill is mine. and it still wont allow it to print. Also when I go to scan a bill using this printer it to stops and says scan canceled. Bank note detected. I was wondering if maybe there was a alternative driver that I could install therefore not installing the software that came with the printer, I searched everywhere and was unable to find any compatible driver. Not even sure that would change anything anyway. My first thought is the firmware. Any suggestions?

Lexmark x2600. Yes I tried printing from explorer and it to stops it . Actually when it stops printing a window from lexmark pops up saying bank note detected then gives link to a website. I went there and it gave the rules for printing this , even after I cut the bill in half to print 1 half at a time , the damn thing still canceled the print, Can someone reccomend a printer I can purchase and not have this problem?

Hp printers don't do it but they are shit.
look for a printer online and goto the website.
if it says anything about money printing rules don't buy it.

Default Whoa Wait .. Let Me Clear Something Up.

I started this a long time ago , This time it"s for a babys 1st birthday. I use photoshop and replace the face thats on the bill with a picture of the babys face. Its way to long to explain how it works. But I do not nor have I ever nor will I ever try to spend fake money. So to answer your question . Do people actually accept the bills I print. I dont know cause I never tried to pass them and dont plan on it..

This thread has been moved to Money, Fake ID and Free Living. Regardless of purpose, this forum is the most appropriate place to be discussing novelty documents.

many printers reconise banknotes from 'constelations' which are standard to most bank notes . a particular pattern of dots (usuaslly yellow) are printed on the face so if it is scaned the printers software reconises this constelation and refuses to print , even if it was a piece of blank paper with a constelation on it it would refuse to print it on the grounds it is a banknote . try photoshoping these constelations out and then printing maybe?

Even if you do manage to print out and kind of currency, you're not going to be able to pass it off as real money. A normal printer doesn't have the capability to produce the quality of an actual bank note.

Wouldn't be easiest to use a early 90s note and use one of those expensive copy machines at a large office building, then like put it through the dryer with some baby powder or something?Would that work for counterfeits?

I think we're all missing the point that this isn't to be used as counterfeit tender, but as a novelty gift for a babies first birthday, Maybe the best Idea would be to take an image of a bank note offline (Decent enough resolution for a full size print) do any editing you want (IE Superimpose the childs face) and then print it out in the middle of a full A4 image of your choosing, probably something complicated looking and then physicaly cut out the "Bank Note" from the print?

It's worth a shot anyway but if "Girlinthedirtyshirt" is right then you probably still wont succeed

Try it anyway
