Wireless POS Data Logging

Everyday... I read and hear about scamsters pulling of wireless POS data logging for CC/Debit info.

Hypothetically, what would it take to install a RS23/USB to bluetooth data logger at a convenience store or fast food restaurant? Lets assume the one time physical access to install the equipment is a cake walk.

Where would one go about to find such equipment, or who would one have to contact to get custom equipment made?

I bought a few of these a couple months ago, they have been working very very well for me. All I did was specify where I was from, send a photo that was the specific device i needed to have(the pos machine). I sent payment and 5 days later had a bluetooth pos logger sending me info to my laptop. It is cool as hell

If you are talking about freelancer.com and websites like that you have already lost in your quest, good luck having some guy from india do this for you for 1500 dollars. lol. Lets say i bugged a fax machine or a 56k modem and wanted to decode it, would it be the same type software or is it spacificly for POS?

Don't waste your time with moneymaker. I spent 3 days negotiating with him to buy his "decoding software". He claimed to be in Canada and that he would come to US to give me the item. Then the plan changed that I would go to Canada. Then the plan changed that he would mail me the software for a deposit. When I finally convinced him to send me a screen shot of the software, it was a 600 x 450 resolution photo of some generic atm software photoshopped with the software utility that comes with the MSR utilities. He's full of shit.

I don't care if he is full of shit, it's classic ripper tactics and had he been in IRC he could have gotten some people to fall for it; I like how his mind works (although I dislike rippers I don't bag on them, it's not as if they're lower than any other type of scammer).

Wigerian, my last message to him read somewhere along the lines of: "Good job, you almost had me. Had you spent more time on your screen shots it would have been a done deal. No hard feelings".

Then I preceded to show him where his major mistakes were in the screen shot that were major giveaways. In contrast, since bombshock is the only board I frequent, I decided to expose him here so no other BS member falls for it.
