What should I do?
I recently loaned a "friend" around a thousand dollars, and he refuses to pay it back. I have been thinking of things I could do to get my money back, but he's a snitch and if I did anything illegal he would surely call the cops.
Does anyone know of a way I could get my money back, possibly fuck him up in the process, and not get caught by the police. If not, some suitable revenge ideas would be great.

If you're worried about being caught by the police, then don't break the law.
Have a talk with a lawyer. Depending on the legislation in your area regarding verbal contracts, you may be able to convince a court that you loaned him said money, and they can enforce, one way or another, the repayment.

How did the money change hands? If you can show that $1000 was withdrawn from your bank account and your friend somehow came across $1000 shortly afterward, you might have some way forward.
But such ideas are best discussed with a lawyer. They will be more qualified to suggest practical ideas.

And if you are worried about him snitching on you, then just say he is trying to discredit you.

Or you can say he stole it, because if he does not pay it back to you then it is counted as theft. Also check with his friends and see what he has recently bought that is new and use that against him in court.

I'm American and no nothing about Aussie law. If it was me, I'd tell him I would let the money slide but want nothing to do him, ever... Then I'd give it 6 month to a year and molotov the car. Here most people don't have full coverage on their cars and if does, just tell him to call you a while later and say about 10 pm cause you got something going on. Talk to him for 15 to 20 minutes pretend to let everything be cool again on the phone then tell the insurance compnay he called you and bragged about how he trashed his own car for drug money. The insurance company will prosicute cause they paid him and you become a wittness against him.

First you should try talking to him before doing anything rash, but if he doesn't comply I would advise you only use force as a last resort and if you do make sure it's something indirect and that can't be traced back to you.

No I just proposed setting him up. Snitching requires that you tell on him for something he did. I'm saying since he relies on the system for protection, you remove that protection.

No, in your situation you told the insurance company that he did it for drug money. Its still snitching even if its not to the cops.

Ok, it still removes his protection blanket, everyone snitches when it suits them. They just say they don't so you'll keep quiet, the reality is if you press anyone the right way they all snitch. Morality is, any morality is a fucking crutch...

I'm gonna have to go with S7@1T3D on this one.... If he needed to loan money, I take it he's not the type of guy to normally buy a car on a whim. Most sensible people would see the connection between such a guy buying a car and you losing a grand within the same week or how long the period of time was. Hopefully a given court would include at least a few sensible people.

pay back is bitch.
there's two ways I would go about this.
1 lant some drugs in his room or car and call the cops.
2: grab a ski mask, some brass knuckles or telescopic baton(just a few of my favorites) and fuck his shit up. as long as you dont say anything or leave any indication that you were there, they cant proove shit.
or the bonus option.....if he was your friend im guessing you know where he lives. just go over there one day and jack his shit, roughly around a thousand dallars worth of his shit, just make you wear gloves, again, dont leave any proof that you were there. comin up with an alliby would'nt hurt.

I'm not sure I want to get the police involved or take this to court. If I did he would most probably rat me out for stuff that I have done.
If I was to do anything like molotov his car, it wouldn't get my money back, but if I do anything like that im going to wait a while so he doesn't suspect me.
I have tried talking to him about it, but he just refuses to speak to me, everytime I call him he hangs up, when I go over his house he acts like he's not home.
I have been reasonable so far. It's been about 4 months since I loaned him the money so he's had plenty of time to pay it back.

thermite through the hood of his car. about a plant-pot full of it should burn through the whole front of the car. or start with small amounts (coke cans) and then light one and tell him if he doesnt pay you back youll burn up his whole car. or u can just burn it and "imply" you did it, therefore you need an alibi so he knows its u but you wont get caught
