Default What is the best store to use the magic bag.

I'm sure all you guys know about the magic bag(a bag with tinfoil that thwarts sensors). I'm very interested in stealing electronics, and I was thinking about Walmart. Would Walmart be a good place to use this technique? If not what are good stores for the magic bag and taking electronics? Any input......

Walmart is great.

I used to know a guy who worked security there a few years back who said it was a huge problem for the store... He robbed that place blind.

ok the senors detect the chip ,which is magnetic .
ALUMINUM foil is not detectable by metal detectors,
so by layering the inside of the bag in large overlapping patterns the aluminum foil prevents the chip from activating the senors, once placed in the bag

This is wrong.....

The sensor bars do not work by detecting magnetic chips (if they even exist)

Every Item in the store contains what is known as an RFID tag which is short for Radio Frequency Identification. The key word here is radio. These aren't always chips either sometimes they are stickers and sometimes they are incredibly small and hidden etc.

The magic bag works on the same principle as a Faraday Cage. It essentially blocks all radio signals coming into the bag and going out. This being said overlapping patterns aren't needed either only a single layer of standard foil will suffice. Actually it is more then needed technically a layer of foil only microns thick like around 30 microns (.030mm) is enough to block rfid signals and standard foil is about .2mm thick.

In my youth I never used bags... I had a jacket with 2 large pockets on the inside that I could put things in. Everytime I would actually buy something cheap just to avoid being caught.

why would they look inside the bag if the sensores don't beep?

unless of course it's just some random occurance that they ask to look inside your bag. but arn't you allowed to refuse them going through your stuff.

i doubt you would be able to do that if they have video Surveillance of you putting the merchandise. right?

any way i thought this to be a really cool idea.

have any of you actully tried it?
