I don't know how it works in Canada, but in some states in the U.S. you can go in and provide some information and receive a duplicate. A few years back, before the state laws here in IL (I am in Chicago) changed, I was able to go in and request a re-print of my DL; I had to provide my full name, address, DOB, and SS#, and they verified that the person in the photo on the DL was me. They then had the driver's license re-issued. If you can find someone that looks like you, get their information in a state this works (are there any, without documentation required?) and go to a DMV to try. If documentation is required, it may be minimal.
If documentation is required, obtaining a birth certificate isn't difficult. You can then use the information on the license (plus SS#, or whatever big-brother-666-ID your Canadian government uses) and the birth certificate to get the license.
But, I might suggest simply locating someone that looks like you and getting his or her wallet using whatever "method" fits the circumstance and your personality, and using their ID. It'd be much quicker.
P.S. You mentioned making a 'decent' replica passport. You must be joking. If you had the ability to make passports that passed scrutiny by a government arm like driver services/DMV, you wouldn't be asking this on a forum filled with 16 year olds. |
