Default Credit Card Chargeback Fraud

I am thinking about doing this but has any1 on here ever done it and is it worth while?

I need some quick cash.

I have identified what i want to buy and how i can get the goods.
I can buy over the phone and can arrange collection of the goods, the company is run from a bloke house so no stores or mainstream cctv involved (unless he has cctv covering his property, but i was planning on not pickiing the good up myself anyway)

I can then sell the goods for a knock down price of £250 for qucik sale (they rrp at £399)

Then ill claim unauthorised transactions with my credit card compnay. Hopefully getting the money back from them! (ill spend about £2k)

Is this viable?

Cheers

People have done that nearly as long as there have been credit cards - it's the original version of credit card fraud.

Whether or not it will work depends on several factors. If your CC company has any reason to believe you're scamming them, they won't pay. For 2,000 GBP, they'll have someone look into it.

I wouldn't recommend it.

I would say it would mostly come down to your history with the bank, your credit and how well you can convince them.

Should work. Recenlty when I had a legit reason to get an item charged back, they just made me call and create a police report and give them the report #, and that was all...But like LSDGiraffe said, it depends on your history, and your story. Once with my old bank, all I had to do was go in and tell my bank manager and he took it right off, so I guess it depends. Good luck!
