"Secrets"

An interesting conversation I heard today considered:
"Is there a secret about you, one that only you know of, that would cause even family and friends to hate or avoid you when revealed."

I was impacted by this statement. I could list many secrets about myself that would cause people to frown upon me (mostly related to hobbies fringe related), and a spare few that would make even my best friends hate me. I am undecided whether to say what this is...

Does anyone here have a secret that would cause concern, even to people on Bombshock?

Knowledge is power; having the secret know would reduce its impact on being able to use it to blackmail you. At the same time it could influence your ability to influence others. So I'd just keep it quiet unless someone plans to use it against you then its a judgement call.

I may have secrets... But if every impure thought was disaster to our lives and we weren't able to forgive ourselves, humankind would perish in an international fit of self-loathing. (AKA The World Wide Emocalypse). However, there's a tiny fine line between sociopathy and general survival instincts, so I suppose we should just play the hands we can win and fold when something isn't fit to be shown.

I with hold so many secrets originating in my private life (drugs, explosive construction, malicious intent) that would rock my public life if all were spilled out. None of it would raise bombshock eyebrows, and i can live with myself, regardless of all that I keep from those closest to me. Them knowing brings no advancement. It just lets them know to be satisfied with knowing. The only 2 people I consider my true friends, well they know everything, not because they ask, but because we always inform each other of what's going on in the others lives.

But I do have secrets that would destroy certain areas of my life.

Well, I know two kind of people; those who admire me for being a congenial and sociallt acceptable person, almost a gentleman, really, and those who respect me for being one of the sickest, most violent and disturbed minds they know.

The first group would (and has) hate me if the yever found out anything at all from the second group about what I am really like.

The second group... they would have a very hard time believing that i'm not pure evil, and for good reasons.

i have a similar situation. i have one group who thinks that i am the best thing ever... best friend i give the best advice and etc...

the other group thinks i am a heartless b***h that would kick someone's ass if they so looked at me wrong... if either found out about my other 'side' it'd be an interesting time that's for sure...

If my friends/family knew that i even came on forums like BS, they'd probably turn away from me on the spot...

Only like 2 of my friends knows about any illegal stuff that i do, the rest wouldn't agree with it.

But nothing i have that would make people EVEN HERE frown...

I've committed a few morally and legally questionable acts.
People crack jokes about how they expect i would be the kind of person to do it but little do they know i have done some reasonably bad things.

Uhm on last friday i commited my 'first real crime': I stole superglue at the supermarket, of the astounishing value of 5,20 euros! I know my best friend, about all of my other friends and my parents wouldn't appreciate it at all, but none of them would really hate me for it... Not a lot of people go through life without stealing anything i think... If I'd had the chance, I'd steal alot more, including pickpocketing I think. Two weeks ago I 'found' a Samsung U600 on a table in the studyroom... I checked the pictures and apparently it's the phone from a girl I know since 2006. She's a friend, but fuck her. I'm trying to sell it...

Oh and I often dream of doing a columbine at school, which of course, I would never EVER do! Don't mistake me! I'm not a fucked-up guy with some serious mental problems... It's just that I sometimes think of how it would be like...

Oh and nobody knows that I'm into hardcore german scat&puke... no just kidding but in fact nobody knows i'm into bdsm lolz... I guess it's not something you tell everybody...

I have secrets. For the most part I haven't done any REALLY bad things. I've done some vandalism of course but nothing SO immoral that my friends or family would never forgive me for them. At school, people think I'm some idiot that does all kinds of bad shit but I'm not really all that bad.....
