Idea for an Adrenaline Junkie centre

For some time, I have always wanted to create a place with a range of stunt activities(Similar to that performed on "Gladiators") for the public. It will range from jackass type stunts from jumping from great heights, crashing into/through walls and other types of stunts without getting injured. Protective gear and Health standards may be required for some activities.

Has anything like this ever been attempted before?

Speed. Lots of speed. You know those G-Force testing things where they shoot you down the track (not the spinning/rotating one)? That's is an adrenaline addicts cup of tea.

Free falling things such as Bungie Jumping or Parachuting... anything with height or speed (or both). Hope this helped...

I imagine insurance concerns will render this impossible. I always wondered how no one landed on their neck in Gladiators. Some member of the public inevitably would.

One would have to go through years of legal hassle to get the licenses and waivers ready for this kind of place to work, but it is possible and it is a good idea. You could have a motel type thing where the people would travel to your place and have a place to stay while they do all the shit you want. Setting up a place in arizona or california a few klicks from a major city would be great if your facility was worth the time and was big enough that no-one got pissed off. setting up a place like that would be really expensive and you would have a hard time getting reliable advertizing for it seeing as its outside of the norm.

I could be wrong about the advertizing. If you do it right you could end up with the first/next jurassic park or something. Follow your dreams dude. If you build it, I'd come.
