Paintball N.E.R.F Rocket Launcher plz help

Hello there

I was jus wondering whether someone could help me out with some plans for a Paintball N.E.R.F Rocket Launcher. Want to make a semi-automatic thing, though the N.E.R.F. rockets should be popped into the front of the rocket launcher. If anyone will help please PM me. Thx

Want to build something that looks like this. I don't want to use PVC or plastics. I will probably build the thing from iron or something.

Sorry, i must have misunderstood. You want it to fire BOTH NERF Rockets and Paintballs? Or do you want it to fire one or the other or do you want the paintballs to fire out of the large portion, please give more details.

Also the supplies you would need are most likely out of your hands but if you can get the correct supplies then you can try. Also you will not be able to build anything like that without a correct metal works facility. More details and ill see if i can help.

Probably not what you had in mind but...
You could build a propane (etc) injected spudgun with a chamber fan and single shot bolt action, not quite semi-auto but probably the best you will be able to do at home with limited resources.

You obvously dont have to use pvc, but constructing it out of metal will be heavier and more expensive.
There is some very good info on google about spudguns to set you in the right direction

Sorry pplz for not giving you sufficient info, anyways no I only want to build something that can fire NERF rockets not mini paintballs, wants to use this as artillary.

Ok so the semi thing was a bit far fetched but would be cool though, anyways. I will draw up some plans when I have the time and then you guyz can comment on them. Sorry but I'm struggling with internet access thus I don't visit the site that much but I'll keep you clued up. Thnx for the support.

It is obvously pneumatic, on their site it says that it has a max operating pressure of 250 psi, which isn't to be sneased at. panzerfaust
If you look carefully at the video you will see that he had a compressed CO2 cylinder on the back of it, the same type that paintball guns use, which is how he got such a heigh rate of fire. http://www.sanchospaintballs.com/yah...123414_std.jpg

To make it I imagine that you could modify a paintball gun to make it more powerfull, and of coarse a bigger barrel. The trigger mechanism looks prety simple in the video.
I couldnt give you any specifics on how to do this because I know nothing about painball guns, sorry. If you figure this out please post it.


Ps, I have an incling of a feeling that the CO2 is fed into a chamber first, before it enters the barrel ( 0:05 - 0:10 in the you tube video), maby it has 2 modes of fire; range, where CO2 is feed into a chamber first, and rapid fire where the CO2 goes directly into the barell. I dont know, just a thought, my minds in a jumble at the moment.

I will go and do some research on this and then I will post something if I find anything. I knew that it operated with CO2, the thing is that I was wondering how the firing mechanism works, the chamber etc.

i own one of them
its a 2in barrle, breach loaded bazooka made by jcs
price around $400 i can shoot any thing that will fit in the barrle
any one up for a chest full of 68cal ammo

and for a cannon i do have some plans for full auto AAA in the works

This is just another idea with a paint ball gun. Christopher Reeve (Superman circa 1979) used to host a show on special effects. In one show they were discussing how to make machine gun bullet sparks along a cement wall.

The F/X tech claimed he was shooting a paint ball gun at the wall off camera. He said he was shooting paint balls filled with zirconium and bird gravel.

If anyone tries this I'd be interested in hearing about your results.
