I'd say remember to sand and finish into a really good end surface. If not it'll feel like a cheese grater on your cheek. Are you painting it too?

Ya by the time you get done with it itll be cheaper to buy a MCM A5, but you will be the only one who has one. Ive wanted to try this but never could figure out a way to make the action and bottom metal to fit beter than my MCM.

Fiberglass is cheap if you know what your doing. The problem with it is that most people don't know how to design the shapes in a way that is effective for keeping strength. People use ten layers when three would do better if done right. Also for some reason, people don't do anything to avoid bubbles. Every bubble that's in the surface takes away the strength of the equivalent of however many layers are over the bubble for the surface that the bubble is on. Since your only really dealing with a few surfaces, a few well places layers would do fine to give to a really nice stock. The foam would make it feel amazing too.

Well i was going to use carbon fiber Wich i found pretty cheap but theres going to be alot of unforseen porblems and by the time you make jigs and fixtures to get the action in there without fuckin up the 2gs you have in a decent set up youll have alot more money than you expected. I have a r700 action that has been trued and fluted V Bull DMS Mike Rock 26" barrel Sitten a MCM A5 GAP camo with every upgrade cost just under 700 for the stock from a-5specs so i wouldnt have to wait for MCM tto make me 1. Its a thing of beauty but i need to save up to get me a nightforce scop right now all i got is a POS Leupold target.
