Default Stun Gun Fun

This is my mugger defense device. I straightened out two very large fish hooks and soldered them to the stun gun prods. The idea is to jam them into the mugger and activate the stun gun. The barbed fish hooks make withdrawing the prongs very difficult of not impossible. Even more-so if jammed into his back.

Stun guns can also be used to destroy all sorts of sensitive electronic devices. Touch the prongs to the breadboard components and activate the stun gun. The prongs on the stun gun can be extended with wires to get in tight spots.

If you have any stun gun ideas please post them.

I have no scanner. If I did I would post a never ending supply of my crazy inventions. I'm quite proud of my flame thrower I made out of a leaf blower and my home-built electric chair I made out of an arc welder.

You could probably get away with a stun gun for self defense but thats going to get you in a lot of trouble, probably assault with a deadly weapon if you aren't too pussy to use it.

Camera?

I make my own out of capacitors, a plastic case, two metal prongs, and a welding gun.

Not a stun gun. A bit painful at best, but far from enough to stun.

What power source are you using, and what capacitors? How are they all connected?

Yes, you are right, it's quite illegal. But it's just to incapacitate the guy long enough for me to get my knife out and repeatedly stab him in the neck. Ideally I'd like to stab the guy in the neck with the stun gun. The large barbed prongs would cause him to rip his throat and/or vital arteries out as he no doubt tries to extract the device. Then no knifework would be required at all.

To the other guy...no camera. I doubt I would post pics of my devices, it would be PC for the pigs to get a search warrant. Maybe someday working drawings.

People could request a PM of the pictures or something like that. This is really interesting stuff.

Or, preferably, they could post it publicly so we could discuss it. That's the point of these forums, after all...

He isn't willing to do that.

Well, public or not at all. If a law enforcement agency has reason enough to believe that illegal actions are happening in private, they will subpoena the administrators (or the owner of the web server) to dig up and hand over the information - in which case they'd be fucked anyway.

And, if it isn't illegal, there's no acceptable reason to not post it publicly. Electrical schematics aren't illegal, if we're discussing how devices work...

I think there is a difference between schematics(drawings) of what someone thinks would be cool to make and pictures of what they have made.

Hmm...maybe I've misunderstood what posts have meant earlier. That's argument in itself for people posting full and complete sentences, rather than one word questions that could potentially have multiple meanings.

But, for the sake of me being right, I'll continue with my assumption - which is that someone, somewhere, thinks they can make a stun gun out of a camera.

Well, I'm certainly not asking for photographs. I'm challenging the suggestion that a camera could be modified to create a "stun gun", and I'm asking for a schematic of what is suggested to be said "stun gun".

I understand everyones curiousity but I don't have either a camera or scanner (I'm using a very low-tech browser). Pictures wouldn't do my toys justice. Drawings would be much more beneficial to the home-workshop guys.

I don't even own a cell phone except for the ones I've bastardized into RC devices. I've found a way for an arsonist to light a fire with a RC cell phone and a flare. He could be half way around the world, make a phone call and burn a house down.

My basement is loaded with my whacked-out stuff. I made the Penguin's Flamethrower Umbrella. I really like portable flamethrowers. The one the Joker used in the 1989 Batman movie is probably the easiest to make. They used to sell it in magic shops under the name of "Hot Shot". You can make one out of a Zippo cigarette lighter and a nasal spray bottle (the stream type, NOT the mist type).

Building improvised weapons is a mindset. Once you learn the basic principles you'll learn to see every objects true potential--it's all about seeing combinations of various compnents together.

In the mid-80s MacGyver and the A-Team awakened the imaginations of a lot of improvisors. I've been doing this stuff since the 70s, my first books were the PMJB series. Those books definately implanted the mindset.

I drill two holes into the plastic case, and weld the capacitors (each prong seperately welded) to the two metal bars. The way i connected the capacitors is sort of like if it was just one giant capacitor. I charge it up with an outlit plug that i cut in half, and stripped away part of the wire. Then i connected a piece of plastic in between the two stripped wires and i just push the prongs in around the plastic divider. This charges up the capacitors but i usually do not charge it up all the way because i dont know how much it can hold.

Well, what power source and what capacitors are you using? That sort of thing can be worked out... (which is why I was asking for schematics in the first place)

...though it's really something for the Electronics forum...

ah yes you are correct on that this will be my last post here.

(as im too lazy to check) whatever capacitors that are used in disposable camera's are. i have about seven of those on each side of the metal bars and my power source is a plug for an outlit (plugged in) which has a stripped wire at the end to charge the capacitors.

thats really stupid. as soon as it enters the blood stream, its going to confuse the hearts heatbeat, and give him a cardiac arrest. you will get knocked for murder, when your intentions werent so. and also, that would then be regarded as a "deadly weapon"

lol right the capacitors would be blown as soon as you plugged it in.

If only the police had the same logic

the police arent that stupid. they will see if you attach fishhooks to an electric buzzer. and if he has a fucking heart attack, they will wonder.

i thought of something! couldnt you have some glue, that when electricity passes, goes really sticky, and when none passes, it stays normal? that would be useful xD
