Rep Power: 0 | | well each bow is different, or are we talkin about one of those new fangled carbon plated plutonium core extract bows?
i stick with the regular old wooden shit...
as for the new ones, if you need to improve fast just buy some of those sights ($20) and read the instruction book
but if ya good one of the wooden ones (the good ones) then all you can do is practice, really...
start with 10 yds, if ya hit back up to 12 yds, if ya hit back up to 14 yds, etc.... but if you miss go back to 10 yds, thatll get your accuracy up real fast

Rep Power: 0 | | Yeah, that's a great exercise. Repition and setting yourself dynamic goals like that will keep you improving constantly.
Keep your stance in mind, keep your elbow in, keep your breathing right and just practice.
I used to practice on moving targets too. Get someone to hurl a milk crate in the air or something.
I was having a bit of a "war" with a mate of mine (rounded off arrows and shite bows), shot him in the chest first, which knocked him over, then when he tried to get back up, one straight in the knee. Game was over then. :^D

Rep Power: 0 | | I think (it was ages ago) although we had some fibreglass arrows, we made a couple ourselves. They of course flew a lot slower. What we did at the tip was hammer a nail in it to weigh it down, so no spikes, just a nail head.
I remember once I got one just above my eye. Everything went black and I woke up a bit dizzy and bloody.

Rep Power: 0 | | ahahaha thats great man
just remember not to use any of the tri-fold spikes...those things are gruesome...
i also remember reading somewhere that you can put a tissue in the end of a hollowed arrow, like a muzzle-loader, then put some black powder then a cap, so when it hits the target, it explodes. dont know how well it works though, ive never tried it, plus that would be a heavy arrow, but i suppose if you counter balance it at the tail it might even itself out, idunno
