Rep Power: 4 | | Just reading over the throat cutting posts. Why?
By the way, the technique told to me by an Ex marine, Is to stab the knife into the side of the throat, cutting through the jugular and getting the knife behind the windpipe and esophagus and then slicing throug, and out of the front of the throat, so that the victim is about 30% decapitated.
Don't do this though, as you will then becime a murderer and be sent to jail!
EDIT: I just thought I would mention, as this is something somebody told me, and is secondhand info, don't have any links, but as I said, this was just what I was told!

Rep Power: 0 | | You can also go into attics of already built buildings with people in them. Practice to be as quietly as possible, people can easily hear things going on in the ceiling. A basic rule would always stay on framing, not sheet rock or ventilation systems. |

i pulled alot of that shit down at a construction site just by jumping up and holding on to it. Its not going to hold you. |

Rep Power: 0 | | This summer me and my friend went on a little mission at a major music festival, we managed to sneak past several security guards and make our way into the grounds of the stately home. It was like something out of metal gear solid. Anyway how we got in was by simple acts of deception, i.e causing a distraction, it is always good to have a stooge who is willing to act lost and ask for directions/help whilst you sneak on by. Hide in ditches, use hand signals (pre determined of course) use any form of cover availiable, take the longest route if it seems safer, even if it is moderately safer, the risks of getting caught by a large group of thugs for rent usually consist of broken bones and bloody noses. We managed to sneak past the security and get into the ornamental gardens. We did it all just to prove that we could do it, stole nothing, managed to ride a stallion lmao, was the best night ever. The place was crawling with security, but we got the better of them because we were simply quite, collected and controlled. That is the best tool for sneaking, and doing it in that manner is a right buzz.

Rep Power: 2 | | Correct me if I'm wrong, I once heard that if you attacked your target from behind, and stabbed him, shoving the knife upward and beneath the ribs, you would then deflate his lungs and he would not be able to scream. Is this true or not?

Rep Power: 3 | | ...Probably not. Just like when you stab someone in the heart, blood still circulates for a limited time. This is purely hypothesis, but he would probably scream, then if you did it right - choke and die.

Rep Power: 2 | | Again this is a guess. And if you stabbed the heart, it would probbally beat for only a couple more beats. So, back to topic. This is how the larynx (human voicebox) works.
When a person inhales and exhales, air quietly goes through the larynx. The larynx does not make noise unless the vocal cords vibrate. Vocal cords are muscles that are located inside the larynx. The larynx has two vocal cords. When a person speaks or makes a noise, the vocal cords vibrate as the person exhales and thus makes a noise.
So, if you stabbed your target and deflated their lungs, when their diafram tried to push air up to the larynx and out their mouth (screaming), wouldnt in be unable to since their is another hole much closer, ( the one you made

Rep Power: 0 | | If you want advice on something (e.g. sneaking) look for a group that do it for a job (e.g. hunters or soldiers). People who go on about ninjas just piss me off.

Rep Power: 2 | | haha fuck ninjas
anyway back to the topic, i hunt alot and dont do tons of sneeking but some. ive noticed that going from heel to toe in smooth motion. also try walking in a line, like one foot infront of the other, i donno why it works but it has always helped me, also try not to lift your legs really high.
When picking clothes try and find darker colors like blue and grey and try and find something thats not a solid color, deer are color blind but can still see one solid color so try and find a few colors in random shapes to break up your outline |

Rep Power: 2 | | I might be able to clear up the confusion with regards to silent knife kills. I was reading through a knife fighting manual and came across this, Quote: |
Even though there is no such thing as a "silent kill" with a knife, a sharp piece of metal through the neck at the base of the skull is one of the quickest killing methods at your disposal.
| Just thought I'd mention it . |

I always advocate to do this if you need it to be quick and clean. Severing the brain stem results in near instant death.
I personally would never slash a throat because it's messy and makes it look to personal.
