Honestly guys, there are quite a few problematic things in this thread
First, a knife CAN be a silent weapon, when used properly.
A shock attack for silence (I honestly don't want to say them over the internet) followed by a fatal attack for death can be silent. The Marine technique is a great example. When the knife is put into the side of the neck, the brachial nerve is severed, stunning the victim, then the carotid artery, jugular vein and windpipe are severed.
THe quietest way to put your foot down is known as the stalk. It's hard to explain, but I'll take a crack at it.
Put your hands on your knees. life one leg to chin level, and place the inside of the ball of foot down, then transition to the outside, then the heel, then the toes. Then, millimeter by millimeter, transfer your weight to it, while checking for creaks. This should tak ~1 minute (66 seconds to be precise)
Normal camo is nearly worthless at night unless prone or in a shadow, when facing a trained observer such as me.
The basis of all stealth is the awareness of the other people around you, and there complacency (routine). I have a great article on this, but does anyone actually want it?
I have been training in stealth for roughly nine years. I can answer any questions you have about stealth or CQC. Go for it. |
