-- Posted by Molitolv Volkov on 10:30 pm on Feb. 21, 2002 Ok im new to this site but i have made many devises simalar to the emp but this is the only one that even sorta works. The capacity inhibitor (part# 390-887) keeps blowin is it the circutry or am i using 2 much power?
-- Posted by Zambosan on 11:19 am on Feb. 22, 2002 Sure, whatever. If you had half a clue, you'd know there was no electronic component called a "capacity inhibitor". Secondly, if you had even 1/4 of a clue, you'd know that no one is going to be able to diagnose an electronic circuit without even SEEING THE FUCKING SCHEMATIC. And no, throwing out a bogus "part number" doesn't lend any credence to your post. General rule of thumb? Don't try to post your kewl fantasies and represent them as the truth around people who know what they're doing. People capable of critical thought don't automatically assume you're an expert just because you post some technobabble. Sorry.
-- Posted by Molitolv Volkov on 7:33 pm on Feb. 22, 2002 Dude your fucked up. Its a part of the fuckin battery charge i hooked up. the part number is from the manufacturer not from me. so unless you know the facts GO FUCK YOURSELF.
-- Posted by qube on 7:45 pm on Feb. 22, 2002
Calm it down, Zambosan has far more respect in these forums than you, your just getting angry because he knows much more knowledge on electronics and other subjects that you just dont know fuck all about.
-- Posted by Molitolv Volkov on 10:32 pm on Feb. 22, 2002
GO to dogpile.com and search for EMP Generators. you can buy the schematics n shit. Also i have a friend who helps me. I am gonna get him on the site soon.
-- Posted by Zambosan on 10:55 am on Feb. 25, 2002
Of course... *I* must be the clueless one. Judging by your terse replies, it sounds like you tried to hook a battery charger up to the circuit. Bear in mind, I'm not even convinced you have even built anything, since you can't offer any details other than to tell us to go to some crappy search engine and look for "EMP generators". If you had built something specific, you'd be asking much more specific questions.

-- Posted by Jack17B on 11:23 pm on Mar. 1, 2002 Nice one zambosan, its always reasuring to know that there are ppl in forums that know what they're talking about. About an emp device, theres not much chance of you building an emp device that can do any harm (apart from wiping a 3.5" floppy from 5 inches away). But I was thinking about this sometime ago. I will share my theories if someone wants to hear them, I just dont want to post any ideas in case everyone already knows what I'm saying, I would hate to seem patronising. you guys probably know a lot more than me.

HAHAHAHA an EMP:confused: ...I also happen to know that zambosan is an electronic guru! Don't think that you can get on this site and tell people like zambosan their wrong! And, Jack17B is right!
-- Posted by drybilgeltd on 5:43 pm on Mar. 9, 2002 Take that part number to Radio Shack and see if they have a couple on the wall. I would like to know what it looks like. I understand their Fort Worthless, Tx. warehouse has lots of odd ball parts laying around. I do not have their current catalog or I would look it up my self.
-- Posted by Molitolv Volkov on 12:06 pm on Mar. 10, 2002
I already told yall that the Capacity inhibitor is a part for a battery that you use to adjust the power. And im only going to use it to fuck up some computers in the school.
-- Posted by qube on 6:09 pm on Mar. 10, 2002 "Why the fuck does my emp device keep fuckin up? " You asked originally in the thread, well i know why, beacuse it aint real!
-- Posted by XxBULAxX on 5:36 pm on Mar. 11, 2002 Hahahahaha:biggrin:.....This thread is worthless. That EMP is probablly a a wire-wound rod tied up to a pulse generator....AKA Piece of shit
-- Posted by XxBULAxX on 5:54 pm on Mar. 11, 2002 Hey, your so called "EMP" IS NOT going to take out computers!!!!
-- Posted by drybilgeltd on 2:15 pm on Mar. 13, 2002 By accident I made a small EMP device when I used to service Xerox photocopies. These copiers have a special electrode in them with a high AC voltage on it that produces a corona glow to put a static charge on the copy paper and photo receptor. The copier models I was working on had a glass coating on the wire. Over time bad things happen the the glass coating and arcing will occure. I was building a testing device to check out the insulation stress the wires could handle after the wires were cleaned. From junk electronic store I found some .01 microfarad caps rated at 30 KV each. Hooking these in series up to some zillion volt rectifiers as a voltage multiplier, Static eliminanter transformer ( from a photocopier ) Variac transformer, resistors and a highvoltage meter I had a power supply that would charge the caps to over 35 KV. On the bench with this were my usual digital multimeters etc. Well, as I turned the voltage up to see how things would work. There was a loud bang. Oh! What a discharge. The digital meter got all confused. I had to turn it off and reset it. There also was a FET multimeter near by that lost its zero. My regular analog meter had no problems. None of these meters were within 2 feet of the test set I was building. To make an EMP you need lots of sudden power discharging all at once. EMP stans for electro-magnetic-pulse. It is the equivalent to a stick of dynamite going off, a lot of power all at once. Not a slow burn like a bar-b-que. The highest I made it to was about 27KV before arcover.
-- Posted by Molitolv Volkov on 7:14 pm on Mar. 14, 2002 I junked the emp. I used a magnet on the side of the mainframe computer in the high school library. id like to see the look on that asswhols face when he see the damages tomarrow.
-- Posted by Zambosan on 10:54 am on Mar. 15, 2002
Again, sure, whatever. A magnetic field cannot penetrate the surface of a conductor, all it will do is induce an eddy current while it's in motion.
-- Posted by XxBULAxX on 6:01 pm on Mar. 15, 2002 a magnet??? LMAO........What are you thinking? almost all hard-drives are sheilded from magnetic fields from their metal casing. So there it the tower's case plus the hard-drive's case, there's no way a magnet will get through that....just listen to what Zambosan said along with others..asswhol:biggrin:
-- Posted by Molitolv Volkov on 6:50 pm on Mar. 15, 2002
well you guys are right about that. any body know a way to make some sorta disk that will fry the 3.5 floppy?
-- Posted by XxBULAxX on 9:28 pm on Mar. 15, 2002
Here is a link for a disk that will start a floppy drive on fire:
-- Posted by XxBULAxX on 9:29 pm on Mar. 15, 2002
I don't know where you would get a virus...
-- Posted by Molitolv Volkov on 11:02 pm on Mar. 15, 2002
Thanks man
-- Posted by yourunforgivenII on 9:47 pm on Mar. 26, 2002 dude there really is no such thing as a capacity inhibitor. hell, im a 12 year old and i know that, god what a moron
-- Posted by yourunforgivenII on 11:17 pm on Mar. 26, 2002 and um.. i may be mistaken but isnt an EMP made by blowing up an electromagnetm so how could it "keep fucking up ""?
-- Posted by Zambosan on 12:10 pm on Mar. 27, 2002 An electromagnetic pulse can be generated by any of a number of means (particularly if you loosen the definition of a "pulse"). A flux compression generator is one means, which is what you're describing.

ok people are getting pshcio
-- Posted by Molitolv Volkov on 9:45 pm on April 9, 2002 i tried the disk thing but it didnt work and fuck the emp idea it sux. i fucked up by trying to make it. so shoot me (please).
