-- Posted by mrjingles on 12:47 am on Mar. 29, 2002 recently i went to ireland and bought a nokia 3310 and wen i got back to australia and tried to put a new sim card in it wouldnt let me , its like got some sim card block thing ... yeah so does any one hav any ideas how i could remove the block or watever so i could put a new sim card in .... thanx

Buy yourself whats known as a datacable for your model of Nokia. This costs around £13(uk), then you can download some free software from say http://mobile.box.sk

The 3310 can be unlocked easier than the newer phones that are availible now.
