I was bored and thought id try and get somthing interesting goin in here.....So Like most of you I see some crazy shit every day and I try to make sense of it. Why is cannabis illegal?:confused: Is religion the true key to enlightenment? Does the government really do everything in the name of protecting its people?
Some people know or think they know the answers to these questions. Myself, I have been wanting to know the connection to them all for as long as I have been smoking, maybe even longer. I'm starting to think that government and religion came into being as opposing forces over the control of the mind of man. At all religions' roots, there seems to be some constant archetypes. Such as the divine spirit, the young hero, magic and visions. Those who use drugs know that they could theoretically, if introduced to someone not knowing any better, be seen as miracles or evidence of some deity's work on earth. Then there is government. Governments used to be considered as given there power by God. A ruling class that sets rules and the way to live in the best interests of the people right? Wrong. Governments do not exist to give people protection. They exist to control. Out of fear of not knowing what will happen without this control, they are allowed to exist and expand and to conquer our minds and bodies to be used to expand them. The same is true for religion. Even with noble origins, religion only exists as a control over the mind of man. Instead of a government to look up to there are invisible beings to be true to. I don't think governments or religion have been used correctly by their leadership. But people are scared. Some are more scared and have more power. These are the ones that never let us truly be free. They don't let us think for ourselves or just realize that we were born here without knowledge and any new knowledge based purely on something as SILLY AS FAITH should be dismissed and true knowledge should be attained by people themselves. And if you disagree with my assertion that religion is merely a control over ignorant masses and government the same, then why is cannabis illegal? Why is something so beautiful and beneficial so wrong to these establishments? How can you, as Cannabis users, give yourself freely to one or both of these institutions while at the same time continuing to use a substance deemed evil by them? The very fact that you use cannabis should be the top reason you discontinue support for religion and for government. It is called hypocracy and I don't think anyone likes to be called a hypocrite or likes to think of themselves as one but if you use cannabis and support governments or religions that suppress it then you yourself are a hypocrite. I'm not saying that governments or religion started out bad, I honestly don't know. I am saying that they have become bad because you as a cannabis user has been deemed evil by them. I do think that if Jesus really did exist then he himself used it. My evidence being that he was the Christ, the Messiah or in another translation the Anointed one. Anointed with what you say? Why about 9 lbs of cannabis flowers were put into the anointing oil that he was given before seeing the sky open up. Then he broke tradition and began anointing and healing everyone. George Washington, father of our country, had himself quite an Indian hemp plantation in which he separated males from females and instructed everyone to sow it everywhere. Cannabis may or may not have been at the core of the inspiration of religion and government and since it is no longer seen as an inspiration by them, it is demonized. As free thinkers and pot smokers the same we can no longer enslave ourselves to beliefs and trust our lives to governments without being hypocrites. Because hypocrites do not inherit the kingdom of heaven and hypocrites go to jail, you may want then to believe what I have written. But if you do not fear hell or fear prison then you are my kind of thinker and i'd love to hear your thoughts on what I have written.

Here is my opinion on Government, Religeon, and cannabis...
The government controls us. We can think we are 'free' all we want and prance around like a ninny saying how we are 'proud to be an american'. The government controls our lives, jobs, and emotions. We are drones. We still have free will. Our natural right.
Religeon is here to establish order. Without religeon the government could not contain so many people. Religeon sets aside laws, morals, and other shit that people think are 'the right thing to do'.
Cannabis is illegal because of the people it creates. Look at the people who smoke marijuana compared to people that do not.
People that smoke marijuana are usualy not very productive.
So the government made it illegal. The reason *most* of marijuana smokers are un-productive is the methods of obtaining it.
Please notice...
A person who grows marijuana is a upstanding person.
A person who fights for money just to get a 1/8 of dirty mexican shwag cannot focus on other life goals.. thus creating a 'bum'.
There is no such thing as 'God'. No superious beings and whatnot.
They are only setting boundries for us.

Yes the legaliztion of mary jane is close! Soon the goverments will not be able to keep their conservetive ways. One of the best things about our country is that it is democratic. That means (as im sure all you are aware) that the goverment is "based" on the people. People elect a certain poltician to lead and guide them. Unfortunatly for us the US goverment is slightly corrupted. But change is near! Vote for legalization of mary jane. Politicans will change their way to suit the people, that's a known fact. Students and teachers alike need to become active in particpation, then and only then will we ever find ourselves among the sweet marijuana plants legally. Overgrow the goverment, do your part to help free the mysterious and wonderful plant. Hemp has soooo many purposes, it's almost insane. Hemp was sown by our fore-fathers to help mend sails on the US constitution. Hemp oil was used for the fuel of Abarham Lincoln's lamp to help his historic writing. Hemp was grown by Thomas Jefferson and George Washighton. Actually the ONLY reason why it was intially restricted was because it was too competitive of a plant, and was causing too much money loss for greedy pigs. Propaganda was mass spread (and still is) that marijuana causes car-accidents and severe brain damage. But let me tell you this! Not ONE person has ever died from marijuana consumption. Compare that to the achool and tabacco. Look at the stats.
So, my message to this community is to free the cannabis! Become active in this process, it is not illegal even though many goverment officals make it sound like it is! Hemp is one of the most greatest plants on earth. If it wasn't banned we would probably have all hemp cloths (seeing how hemp asorbs 4 times as much water as cotton!), ropes, string, and also an amazing amount of natural fuel is readily available.
This plant is just amazing. Don't let the goverment rule you and tell you what you can and cannot do. Fight back, and remember that everytime you go to the ballots office you know which politicans promote the legalization of ganja!

I've sent letters to the president, my state governor, reps., and other officials of my marijuana concern.
I am a writer and have written 2 books even tho I'm 14.
I think I wrote those letter EXTREMELY well and added to our campiagn.
Grow grow grow.
Soon marijuana will 'come out of the closet' and everyone will see our power!!!

Ya definitly! I really think religion was made up to control people, I mean shit, you see like 20 new religious cults forming everyday! Whats so hard to belive the popular ones were made the same way? And when they were made up (if they were) it would only be an obvious and easy way for people from way back when to explain things they cannot expain and control people. And ya really, how does the government let Cigarettes and Tobacco be legal and not Weed? And what the fuck, smoking pot supports Terrorism? Maybe they just so happened to forget about the Billions of dollars of the Arabs oil we buy every fucking year? Hmmm with like one fuckin oil drill they could get milions of dollars to buy their shit! And i'm high while i' writting this, and I have been smoking for a while, so I guess I must be stupid, right? I must be a big irresponsible, stupid, ignorant bastard who can't think for himself. Weed is not my way of life, but I do it every once and a while, responsibily. I mean are they really that much better than me because they chose a government office for their job? I could do that, if I wanted to. I think I will find a religion that smokes pot as a tradition and join it and get a liscense to smoke weed legally in front of every authority I could to show them what the fuck I mean! By the way when you talk about Hemp it contains no THC, but hey it looks like it so I don't know if you know this but its illegal! just because it looks like it! Ha ha a ha ha thats funny! Because I planted 5 pot plants in the Police stations front yard and 3 of them sprouted! No joke! I'm not bullshittin you, I plant pot everywhere, i'm like the next fuckin Johnny Apple seed but with weed. It drives the Cops insane, get everyone to do it where you live, its real funny.

weed will be legalized, the amount of people on the U.S.A who smoke weed is 71 million and growing rapidly, the goverment cant hold us back long and we will be able to smoke joints walking down the road at parks(although I already do) and not have to worry. the goverment is full of bullshit and all their studies that have come up with eveidence against weed is corrupted and the good studies found nothing bad about it.

Lol, you should join up in Buddahism. In India they smoke shitloads of weed to help them "meditate", its pretty freaky. Anyways we should get everyone in this forum to plant 10 seeds in wide open public areas. Not specifically for the buds but just to piss the goverment off. The hemp plant is cannabis, that's why it's illegal. The reason why it conatins no THC is because it is harvested before the plant flowers. Hemp and bud plants are one in the same, and that's why it's illegal. Anyways, everyone grow pot and overgrow the fucked up goverment.
