-- Posted by Bandit9 on 8:40 pm on Mar. 20, 2002 I need to know how to set up an explosion to scare some bad guys who are breaking into vehicles (mine).  Power source will come from interior light to trigger explosion ... sure would appreciate some advise on what to build (that I probably won't do alot of time for) that will scare the shitrats into compliance. -- Posted by Zambosan on 9:19 am on Mar. 21, 2002 Make an acetylene / oxygen mixture in a plastic grocery bag.  Fill a small piece of wax paper with a little bit of black powder or some dry incendiary like sugar/nitrate, and stick an electrical igniter (model rocket or improvised) into it, twist it sealed, and tape to the bag.  Attach leads to the igniter, and remove the battery terminals from your car.  Open the door, wire the leads to the terminals of the dome light (you shouldn't *need* to remove the lamp), close everything up, then re-attach the auto battery & close the hood. Dangle this from a wire instead of leaving it somewhere, because it will singe whatever it's touching when it goes off (not to mention make your car smell like smoke). That should be simple enough. Be sure to get a good fuel to air ratio (experiment first), because with no oxygen the propane will not burn. A one pound KNO3/sugar smokebomb leaves a two foot wide singe mark on whatever you set it on when you light it. Thanks again, you are an artist!!! -- Posted by Zambosan on 1:07 pm on Mar. 25, 2002 Haha... glad to be appreciated.  Part of the beauty is that there's very little evidence anything happened, and the idiots in all likelihood won't hear the sirens and will be too stunned to run.  The first time my stupid ass was playing with bags of C2H2 and decided to crank open the oxygen as well, the box of matches I was holding when I blithely tossed a lit one at the bag went flying onto my garage roof, and I was knocked on my ass.  My friend was standing over me *screaming* at the top of his lungs, and all I heard was a monotonic high-pitched "eeeeeeeeeee...." The lady across the street lurched out of her house to glare & look suspicious...
