Anyone know how to remove scars an easy way which were obtained from burning or cutting? I got a scar from a burning baloon rubber which was painful.
-- Posted by XxBULAxX on 5:36 pm on Mar. 15, 2002 Scars naturally go away, most of the time...I've never had a burn scar, but I got hit from an enemies bomb with some shrapnel. Even though it wasn't deep I still had a scar and it went away in a couple months...sorry I can't help
-- Posted by qube on 5:50 pm on Mar. 15, 2002 Yeah, most go away, just wanted to kno what to use to make it speed up going away......
-- Posted by XxBULAxX on 5:52 pm on Mar. 15, 2002 I have no idea, this is a zambosan type question...he would know

-- Posted by preditor on 2:32 pm on Mar. 16, 2002 I think my body has more scar tissue than regular skin, I have noticed that when a scar is cut again, provideing it's not coterised when it is cut from srhapnel or something, that the scar area heals with the cut, and if that cut doesn't scar then the original scar is partly eliminated, this could be expanded on if anyone knows what it is I'm trying to say

i know what you're saying , by having another cut on top of the scar tissue , and by looking after the second cut so it doesnt scar , then it will make the original scar go away-new skin grow over it .

-- Posted by Zambosan on 12:15 pm on Mar. 18, 2002 Vitamin E also helps. You can cut open capsules from a health food store and apply the oil directly to the skin.
-- Posted by Rebo on 4:00 pm on Mar. 18, 2002 use vitamin e, but don't just apply it. you need to firmly massage it onto the affected area & the scar will go away over a period of time. It doesn't feel very good (feels like you are getting a shock over & over again), but It works....

Vitamin E oil helps a lot, you don't have to cut up capsules, however, most corporate bastard (department) stores have it available in small bottles.

-- Posted by chroniccrescent on 9:04 am on Mar. 26, 2002 dont get rid of scars! every scar has its own story to tell. u wouldnt beleive how much scars i have, my recent 1 is from when i carved my name into my forearm 1 time when i was drunk, looks cool though, dont get rid of them

i read somewhere that you can remove tattoo's by rubbing them with salt and water (over a LONG period of time). i'm not sure if it means like epsom salt or just regular salt but it sounds like the idea behind it is to sand off the scar region and feather out the scared area to make it less noticeable. i think it would work because sanding it would remove most of the scar tissue and it would be replaced with good skin. as you do this put vitamin e, aloe and all the stuff everyone else said on it to help it and i think it would work. using a palm sander with some 600 grit wet/dry paper would probably work nice

I carve lots of peoples names into my skin..
-- Posted by chroniccrescent on 12:01 pm on Mar. 26, 2002 did u ever get infected? a couple of my letters in my name got infected, but it wasnt serious
-- Posted by XxBULAxX on 11:37 pm on Mar. 26, 2002 It won't get infected if you use plenty of Hydrogen peroxide..This will keep infections out of the wound
