yhello i wonder if one part (in the recipe like 1 part salt) is something in grams or something. i think it's like
-- Posted by Creeper on 3:50 pm on Mar. 31, 2002 WHAT?!?

Don't say stuff like "I'm a stupid newbie" or "I'm an idiot with chemistry". This doesn't make people feel sorry for you. Plus, when people say they don't know how to make bombs, or they suck with chemistry, this only makes us less likely to help you. Giving chemistry illeterate people recipes, is like giving a retard a knife. Anyways, I use 6 parst potassium nitrate, 4 parts sugar. DO NOT heat both toghther on a stove! melt the sugar, turn off flame, add KNO3...Then insert wick while it hardens

a "part" can be any mesurment..If you put in 2 teaspoons of KNO3 in the mixture, then you put 1 teaspoon of sugar in. The parts have to be proportional

thats right all recipes for bombs are suposed to be in volume though not weight

"parts" is used to describe ratios.
-- Posted by shoota on 9:50 am on April 1, 2002 ok. thanks. that's what i wanted to know

I had the same problem first time I read something liek that but I guessed. You just double the amount of pottasium nitrate then u do for the sugar.
-- Posted by Zambosan on 10:56 am on April 2, 2002 If something is given in "parts", they usually mean volume because it's easier to measure than mass. But if you have a "recipe" that uses "parts", you can bet it's not very accurate and came from someone who just tinkered around instead of understanding the chemistry behind the reaction. Tread at your own risk (although sugar/nitrate isn't exactly nitro).

yeah, kind like how recipes for food measure things in teaspoons, cups and shit..
