-- Posted by ladieluver on 4:43 pm on Feb. 25, 2002 How do i get my fingerprints off my hand (you know sumthing like off of men in black) and also getting them off an object like lets say a gun... any ideas?
-- Posted by Darkness on 4:48 pm on Feb. 25, 2002
u dont want to take the finger prints off ur hands because they would look 4 the guy without fingerprints
-- Posted by Darkie on 8:19 pm on Feb. 25, 2002 Yea, leave them intact. Other wise people would know ur up to something. Stick with gloves. I bought a pair of kevlar gloves online for like $15 and they are lite, fire proof, and cut proof. Everything u want anyways. Also, alcohol will help take prints off. But does anyone know how long prints will stay on something(insde/outside)?
-- Posted by preditor on 9:44 pm on Feb. 25, 2002 one time when I was arrested the fucking cops cuffed me to a pipe before fingerprinting and takeing my picture so I was pissed and wanted to get them pissed. so I scraped my fingers to hell with the cuffs and the pipe and my watch, you get the picture but they didn't because when they weren't looking I fucked up the camera. I thank my buddy for the distraction. the prints only stayed gone for a couple of weeks then came back. but the cops didn't get the prints
-- Posted by ladieluver on 10:44 pm on Feb. 25, 2002 yeah well i still want my finger prints to come off, i plan on do somethings and and leaving evidence and gloves dont always work so need to find a way to get them off and getting them off an item

Leave your fingerprints on. Use non-powedered latex gloves (the kind surgeons use, or the kind you can get at an arts & crafts store for doing paper mache, etc.) but be carefuly not to rip them when in use. Leather and fabric gloves leave distinct marks that are unique just like fingerprints.
-- Posted by preditor on 11:43 pm on Feb. 25, 2002 I bought a couple of boxes of latex gloves that are almost the same color than my skin. they evan make really dark beige ones I use in the summer when I have a tan
-- Posted by largeidaccam on 1:31 am on Feb. 26, 2002 if you want to take your finger prints off and keep them off youll have to either burn them off or cut them but the cut would have to be very deep inorder to scar the tissue so it doesnt grow bad same with the burning it will have to be prety bad to work otherwise it will grow back

light a fire ....and ...
-- Posted by Hergor on 9:53 am on Feb. 26, 2002 best idea of the above mentioned is the one with instant/super glue. but be sure to cover one fingersegment at a time... otherwise you'll experience problems with moving your fingers. ;)
-- Posted by ladieluver on 11:09 am on Feb. 26, 2002 ok ok ok ok ok.... they wont come off my hands.... but what about a object like a gun or a knife? how do i get them off those "type" of things?
-- Posted by preditor on 1:07 pm on Feb. 26, 2002 if the surface is smooth then just wipe them off, smooth like a doorknob. and if it's not, like a rubber handel on a knife, the rinse it in water
-- Posted by largeidaccam on 11:10 pm on Feb. 26, 2002 yeah just to that water idea you know how you see on movies how they through there gun in to a stream or river of somthing like that wellllll its becuase the water washes off the finger prints that and it hides the gun

Water isn't always a good idea. The human body produces oils which act as a type of "glue" holding your prints on anything your touch. Everyone knows that oil is not water soulible (sp?) and the print will remain intact for a while after submerged. Also, the acids in the oil will cause oxidation on the metal parts of equipment, this process is aided by the added H2O. The only sure fire way to get prints off of anything is to not get them there in the first place.

right, to wash fingerprints off you need more than just water. but don't worry, even some soap will do the trick.
-- Posted by HyperBaja17 on 9:10 pm on Mar. 2, 2002 canle wax or glue? i heard cut the fingertips but not into the dermis layer of the skin then put drano (i think) it has some type of lyme thing it will burn like hell then will change your fingerprints

From what I understand, there are really only two ways to permanently alter your prints: plastic reconstruction (basically, laser surgery by a plastic surgeon) and chemical deconstruction... cut open the ends of your fingers (not all the way, just through the first layer of skin) and put some lye under the cut. It'll permanently burn your prints into a deformation, but they're still measurable...
-- Posted by johnny 99 on 5:21 am on Mar. 15, 2002 super glue works well the lye would work but is awful nasty . alng the same lines, i've been told that you can prick your fingers with a needlea couple of times and then hold them against a sliced pinapple not the canned stuff , and the acid will temporarily obliterate your prints.

Alcohol is best for cleaning things without damaging them, I myself use Aerosol deodorant, as it evaporates quickly and you don't have to make physical contact with the thing at all.
