The greatest things are learned by trial and error. TRY it, and if you can't figure out how or it just doesn't work, then you should ask. I use a program called Adaptec Easy CD Creator. There are other programs out there that have different features such as data burning and so forth and their interfaces are (obviously) different. Usually, if you have a CD burner, it comes with burning software. Most software supports data transfer to disk. Now, cutting through the BS, I haven't 'ripped' any games, but I have pirated my share of other software programs. I find it easiest to browse the CD in Windows Explorer, copy the files to my hard drive, then copy them to a CD. Be sure to copy EVERYTHING. Make a folder to copy the CD contents into and do it through windows, or simply go to DOS and do it there. If you wanna burn PC games and make it so you don't get shit down like a bitch. You need to make 1:1 exact copies. Get a program called CloneCD. Im assuming you have the original PC game you wanna copy. Anyway just do a cd to cd copy and it should work with no smash of copy protection. If your CDRW dosn't support CloneCD. Then use some program to make a copy of the cd and then after that your going to need to get a no-CD or fixed EXE patch for the game.
