-- Posted by deathweasle on 11:01 am on Mar. 16, 2002 i think with all the millions and millions of posts and topics on this site, there should be WAY more than4 or 5 moderators or administrators. i dont really care how somebody gets the position, but we are not getting enough moderation from a couple of the current named ones which i will not name. we could clear up ALL the very pointless strings, and the ones that have been dormant or inactive for a certain amount of time. it would make this website a whole lot more organized and cleaner. i think we either need a whole new set of admins for 1 main reason, with only 2 or 3 people with the power, the ones that are designated gain an attitude and allow it to go to there head. and with more moderators the job could be donr and covered much more effectivly. i would be more than happy to take any position you give me, this forums board is in the EXACT same format as the last boards i moderated at, tripletriadxforums, you might know them, its the EXACT same except for obviously different categories, and i did a fine job of moderating there, i was nearly givin the spot of admin. so i will be more than happy to take a position to help controll the forums, let me know ASAP oh and i think i am more than perfectly qualified for the position, i mean so far i have known everything somoneneededto know, proly because of my collage degree in chemistry and chemical engineering, so i can answer any question asked by the members of the forums. -- Posted by Just0nePepsi on 12:32 pm on Mar. 16, 2002 you are dumb. The admins we have now keep it real and aren't all "We are smart so kiss our ass's". They tell newb's when they need to shut there mouths and they help the people that have real questions. Also isn't this a matter you should talk to Xpl0sive personally and not on the boards. Cause no one wants to hear you kiss ass so you can be an admin and make your self look like your respected. When it gets that many there is a lack of communication with Moderators etc so the site goes down hill. Also from where im sitting i can see who is moderator material etc, i think there is prob about 12+ worthy people, you should be able to see who they are too. Also DeathWeasle, you say you know your stuff bout things, but that dont make you any better, because you have to be able to keep your cool in certain situations, have good communications, not be a dick(not saying you are) and other qualities that most of these Moderators show. Okay someone probably will accuse me of ass kissing there, but its only the truth, you should be able to see that. And some Respected Members would be perfect for this job. ALso the site wouldn't look like it's totaly run by overlords and that lower people can get involved. I think Mr. Mushrooms is PERFECT for this job. (maybe me 2!) lol. But anyways this should be put into mind. Really think about this!
