Ranks are good i beleive because they show how much people contribute. Generally speaking the more quality points of view and information you contribute the more you are respected. With the more posts you post the more skulls you receive, signifying you have contributed more and have generally been around longer. The preoblem is that people think that they can post a lot of posts with no real info in them or just posts that do not need to be posted to gain more skulls. You have made it clear that you did not know about the ranking system but in my opinion you have been posting un-nescecerry replys and topics and this just clutters the board. now that there are much more moderators all unrelated posts will be deleted and if a particular member is thought to have posted a large number of rubbish then that member will have their rank reset or even be banned. please note this down everyone else..
