Have you ever bought a program and it prompts you to enter a serial or registeration key? Well, that's basically a product key. A product key is usually found on the back of the CD case the software comes in and is usually almost as wide as your computer screen (not really, but it sometimes seems that way). Often times you need this key to be able to use the software.
