Preferably with a drop in type autosear so that I dont have to modify my weopon. I know that paladin press used to carry it in the 80s. On the AR-15 to M-16 conversion it takes more than just the drop-in auto sear. I know because I'v done a few of those. It takes a change-out of what's called the trigger group. That's the sear, the selector, and the dissconnect. Most ppl go to a forward-assist upper receiver to complete the conversion, and give it the M-16 appearance. -- Posted by johnny 99 on 11:34 pm on Mar. 15, 2002 No Im not talking about any variation of the m16 / ar 15 . The ar-7 is a little takedown semiauto survival rifle designed by stoner years ago for the airforce, tese days is sold by Henry arms co. whats nice about them is that you can unscrew the barrel, and the butstock very easilly!! whitch makes them nice to configure as pistols, subgun and rifle all in one package with diferent barrels. right now Im running it full auto  with a motor and cam built into a custom pistol grip, works OK.
