-- Posted by The Dark Avenger on 3:29 am on Dec. 15, 2001 If you don't have a game console, buy or rent one. Check out some fighting games. Most of the games have real moves. Copy them.
-- Posted by Sicopath on 5:30 am on Dec. 15, 2001 Jab twice with your right and follow up with your left, let all your momentum get behind it and aim for the solar plexus. If you hit straight on, your opponent should be seriously winded. Then you can fuck up/kill/rape or whatever feels right.

If you have an aresol can and a lighter handy, why not shoot a fireball at them? Anyway, that's not what I was talking about. I was referring to the basic moves that no body likes to use. Everything in your imagination (i.e. movies, video games, dreams) stems from something in real life. A lot of the basic moves in fighter games are real moves that can be applied to real situations. I'm not saying that an average "Jo" can perform a Lu Kang Bicycle Kick. Remember, any part of your body that can touch any part of their body is your weapon. Elbows, fingers, knees, feet, shins, head. If you can inflict pain on someone, doesn't matter HOW you do it, just do it.

There is a game out there for Playstation called "Fighter Maker". It's pretty hard to find, but a really good learning tool. You can create a fighter and actually create the moves he uses. This has been the most "true to life" fighting game that I have played. It's not all that fun, but the majority if not ALL of the moves can be applied in real life. It also gives you a chance to refine the existing moves. This is a cool feature because you can see how a move or technique is preformed frame by frame.
-- Posted by NeoDope on 4:04 pm on Dec. 18, 2001 Ive got an idea , U could just punch'em in the face , punch'em in the face again , and then...Well u get the idea ;) Btw , aim for the nose and if u wanna make it hurt bad grip ur fist and stick ur middle finger out into a point and use the surrounding fingers to secure it, then...well swing like hell!

There are 2 basic points i want to mention, both were from movies:
-- Posted by Systemadic on 7:28 pm on Feb. 13, 2002 If close enough grab your enemy's shirt with both hands at about the middle of his chest, while pulling him tword you lunge foward aiming your right knee for his groin and the top of your head for the bridge of his nose. If all goes well he'll be temporarly blind and bleeding from the broken nose and his nuts will be in his stomach. Dirty fighting some might say, but whatever gets he job done says I.
-- Posted by Scarface on 11:03 pm on Mar. 27, 2002 First of all, already mentioned though, but underated, is a decent first shot to the solar plex. A loss of air is just harder to handle than a shot to the face. If that other bitch is out of air to some level, I recommend following up with either a hard head butt to the bridge of the nose. If you hit them with the ever popular uppercut, to the base of the nose, it is potential to kill your opponent, unless that is desired then try that. In respect to defending yourself, if you hit like a 99 cent bong, anything is fair in war, so once your are hit fall no matter what and grab anything in sight to introduce to the fuckers face.
-- Posted by Rebo on 4:42 pm on Mar. 28, 2002 just throw a moderately hard shot to the windpipe. I don't give a shit how big someone is, punch them in the neck & they will go down
-- Posted by TheAnarchist on 9:05 am on April 1, 2002 i always punch someone on the bridge of the nose and then hit him in the windpipe...but thats me
-- Posted by Osbennett86 on 4:42 pm on April 1, 2002 A great fighting game that actually inspired me to take Karate was Dead Or Alive 2 for the Dreamcast, and Dead Or Alive 2 Hardcore for the PS2. All realistic moves. There are only about two that I can think of that absoutly can't be done, and don't try to do anything the last boss, Tengu, does, because he has wings. :) But yes, this game has many good moves and styles like Mugen Tenshin, Karate, Kung Fu, Wresteling, Kickboxing, and a style of assasin combat. I'm not sure of the name.
