-- Posted by someoneisluke on 5:21 am on Mar. 16, 2002 To build a scewer launcher you need a scewer(kabab stick),a pipe about 40 cm long with a diameter of 1 cm and one of those fat red rubber bands, oh yeah and sticky tape. To construct, cut the rubber band so it is no longer a loop but one strip and stick the ends to either side of one end of the pipe with shit loads of sticky tape, and this is the launcher. To use, put the scewer inside the pipe and then pull it up against the rubber band and let go and it will shoot forwards. Make sure the tip of the scewer is still inside the pipe because it might not go through the pipe and get you in the finger, like it did me. It goes in pretty far to. Note: the scewers are useless in the wind because they are so light, maybe try putting some weight onto the scewers or make a proper dart. Remember to use heaps of sticky tape to put the rubber band on. Tassels seem to slow down projectile speed though.
