This one is fairly easy and fairly reliabe. It’s also really easy to
improvise on SHORT notice. All you need is an aerosol can with a flammable
substance in it,
like deoderant, and some strong tape (masking, duct).
Just put some tape over the thing so the
button is held down and it’s
caught spraying, but not hitting the tape. Basically, just get
the thing to
spray continuously. Now light the jet of aerosol. It will make the classic
flamethrower, but as pressure from the can decreases, the flame will draw
ever closer to the
hole in the button. Once it gets an inch or so in the
hole, the whole thing blows. This can
take seconds to minutes, depending
on how full and how big the can is.

Hmm… I am not sure if this will work, but i’ll give it a try. I’ll let you know if it works. If it does, i’ll make a bigger one, a couple of cans strapped together. If all goes well, i will post it on YouTube and post the link to the vid here.

just get a small firework like a cascade (a firework that sprays a flame out the top) and tape it to the can tightly. light the wick of the firework and lob it far

I could not get this to work, at all. The pressure from the can blew the flame too far away, and it wouldn’t stay lit. I even tried putting a taper in front of it and lighting that, but the aerosol just put the flame out.
Okay, here’s a little lesson for you: burning is when something (it can be an element, metal, wood, what ever) reacts with oxygen. When metal rusts, it is slow burning, but when something burns with an flame, that is fast reaction with oxygen. SO the keywords are REACTION WITH OXYGEN. There can’t be fire without oxygen, and there is none inside deodorant bottles, so the liquid can’t burn, and the pressure won’t grow inside the bottle. (This is not true with all gas containers, so i am not responsible if you try that with butane canisters…)
i doubt this will work for 1 simple reason, by the time the flames gets close enough i’m pretty sure there will hardly be enough pressure inside the can for it to blow up… either that or i’m still drunk

i have tryed many times
there is no oxegen inside the can so therefor combustion cannot take place, the most that will ever happen is that the valve will melt off and u will get a bigger flame but that is it.
for best rusults just stick one on a nice hot fire for 5 minuits and then see what happens
Does not work attempted with spray paint, bug spray and hair spray; it only makes a pretty flamethrower. Even tried aggravating it by knocking it over via an attached string. Doesn’t work.
