how might i come along making a remote or timed delay ignite

hey i need to make a remote control light’er. so i can be somewhat far away from the bomb when it goes off i need some tips i thought about a few things but i could use some of your ideas to help me out in quest.

i thought about using about 2 9-volt batteries and connecting to them a fuse/wire used to set rocket engines off with because they have some chemical on the end of the wires that ignites when gets hot enough from the power of the batteries.but i need a remote way of setting them off .

use a cheap remote control car, and use the motor wires for the igniter…now when you push the stick foreward or back, the igniter will ignite…

Disassemble an active pager, and use the leads to the vibrator motor (make sure it’s set on vibrate) to activate a larger electrical switch (i.e. circuit completion) to something that has the power to set off your initiation explosive. For example, to complete the circuit between a 9v battery and a solar ignitor to light some gunpowder that will light the high explosive. Call the pager to set it off (after a short 3-5 second delay). You’ll have to have a basic understanding of electronics to make it happen. Very basic. But you can set it off from anywhere in the world if you can get to a phone.

There is alraedy a post with the information you want, in the electonics section!

By the way, black powder will not detonate a high explosive…
As far as timers go, there’s always the hackjob method: A kitchen timer with a dial is outfitted with a wire on the dial and a wire at the 0 mark on the face, both soldered to a nail for their contact points. Affix a switch to one of these leads (to prevent accidental ignition – set the timer, then hit the switch), a battery on one end, and your device on the other.
Laugh if you want. It still works…

radio controlled cars use a really common frequency i dont think that would be a really great idea. though you could use a set of walkie talkies also a common frequency a little more money but you could detonate it from a couple miles away. and if you use a pager make sure nobody pages you

ok… i know that you could do all the things listed but i’m not sure if its mentioned dudes but i thought about connecting more batteries then required and puttting a chemical type fuse on the end of it used to light off engines in model rocketry. it might work but i will give it a try and get back to you…..but for know i’m broke

find an uncle or some shit, if he works at firework shows, he’ll have an ecectric match, this is used to light fireworks via control, if you dont know any one who works with fireworks, i thing you can buy them some places for cheap.
~heres an idea with an electric match: find some potasium, sodium chlorate, and sugar. mix them, large ass amounts of them (i don’t know the proportions, try the archives), with black powder. take a 20 gal. metal tub (box shape or otherwise), fill, and pack with mix, melt a thin layer of wax over it drill alot of holes in the wax. in six or so holes, place an electric match. go to someones house you don’t like. make sure their not home for at least an hour. place box in basment, shut all his windows, draw all the shades, open all the doors (ecept front, back, ect.), unplug all the smoke detectors. leave the house. press the button on the control to light the match. presto! a huge-ass smoke bomb. enough smoke to fill a small city. odds are, when they come home, it’ll take a cupple of days to air out their house. have fun!

A three liter soda bottle of sugar nitrate smoke mixture is quite sufficient for filling a normal sized house.

sorry zero, it’s just more fun to set off enough smoke to cover a few blocks . . .

Well, it’s your hospital bill when you give yourself a hernia trying to carry the thing in there…
