Pool Oxidizer

— Posted by Egg411 on 1:45 pm on Mar. 28, 2002

i was at my friends house the other day and outback next to her pool was a 5 gallon bucket of some pool chemical.  it has the big OXIDIZER warning label on it.  anyone happen to know what this might be and if its of any use for a bomb?   its easy to get in large quantities so if its any good it sounds like fun

The clorine is pretty useless but the acid is used in mail box bombs. and any of that shit will fuck stuff up if u poor it on something.

the “oxidizer” is calcium hypochlorite… when aq. and HCl is added, it frees chlorine ions – thus chlorinating the pool
