Soldier of Fortune Weapons Show

Las Vegas. They had a real working flame thrower.
$2500.00 They had 7.62mm miniguns. LAAW rockets.
Silencers. Full auto assault rifles. A fighter ejection seat.
Tracer ammo. All for sale. You have to be a qualified
buyer. And have plenty of money. But it was there.
Pretty cool.

JMB if you were going to buy a handgun for example at that gunshow what restrictions were there.Heard that they were slack nationwide but what did the Nevada law say if you know.I think you should just be asked for your ID but that gun sellers usually ignore that law and sell them anyway. But then every state is different!!

balor,
Thank you for asking. They are VERY slack. I don’t live in Nevada, but at gun shows a lot that should’nt go on does. Depends if the gun is new or used. Registered or unregistered. I have heard of sellers telling unqualified buyers to “come back later.” Or “meet me over there.”
California is trying to push the registration of so-called
“assualt weapons” and less than one quarter of the
owners have responded.

Thanks Jmb.I asked the same question as I asked you in an old thread and I got no answer to it.I heard that a lot of under the table deals go on as the NRA and gunsellers disagree with the government over some law about registration and basically ignore the law.Im not from the US,just curious in case I ever went over on holidays etc.Might set myself up with something ,you know yourself!!Thanks again!

balor,
Your welcome. If you have any more questions, message
me. Using the forum for conversations is kinda gay.
Also, I know some very clever ways to ship stuff.
Later.

Just an aside about gun shows and gun control in general… self defense is a citizen’s best defense. I don’t advocate vigilantism, but the cops are *not* going to miraculously appear when an armed assailant breaks into your house. If people want to get weapons, they’re going to regardless of legislation. Most handguns involved in a crime were *not* obtained through legal channels. Big surprise… criminals don’t respect laws. So I personally think it’s great that dealers at gun shows don’t put law-abiding citizens through the wringer when they want to buy a gun. Hindering the ability of the large majority of peaceful, contributing members of society to arm themselves only further removes the deterrent for criminals to attack innocent people.

hehehe, imagine….
A robber is in your room flicking through your things while you appear to be asleep,…
You carefully pull the flamethrower out from under your bed….
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
